Check if a YouTube Channel or Video is Monetized

Paste the YouTube Channel or Video URL. Let's Find statistics, Monetization status and Information.

How to check if a YouTube channel or video is monetized?

To find out if a YouTube channel is monetized or not, follow these steps:

Go to the channel's main page, view the page source code, and search for the string "is_monetization_enabled." If the value is true, the channel is monetized; if the value is false, it is not monetized.

However, you don't have to go through these steps for every channel. Use the monetization checker form on this page, copy and paste the channel's URL. You will quickly learn whether the channel is monetized and approximately how much it earns per year.

Channel Id Finder:

This tool finds the YouTube Channel ID, channel ID URL, channel information, and statistics. Additionally, you will find the total number of views the channel has accumulated from its creation date until the present, as well as its creation date. You will also see the Channel profile picture and cover art,as high-quality images.

If you try to determine whether a YouTube channel is monetized by checking for the presence or absence of ads in its videos, you may be mistaken. Some videos may contain ads when the monetization feature of some channels is turned off.
This can happen because certain videos may have copyright claims, and the earnings from the displayed ads go to the copyright holder while the channel's monetization is turned off. You can learn these details by checking the monetization checker form individually for each video.

How to Check If a YouTube Video is Monetized or Not?

To check if a video is monetized, go to the video's page, view the page's source code, and search for the string "yt_ad." If the string is present and set correctly, the video is monetized; otherwise, the statement that it is not monetized is misleading.

Since October 2020, YouTube has announced that it started placing ads on some videos or channels that are not monetized. YouTube may also place ads on videos from channels that are not part of the YouTube Partner Program. As we mentioned earlier, ads may be shown in the video due to copyright issues, but it does not necessarily mean that the video or channel is eligible for monetization. To be sure, you should search for both the "yt_ad" string and make cross-queries using the YouTube Data API v3.
Again, you don't have to do this manually for every video you want to check. Use the YouTube monetize checker form, copy and paste the video's URL.

YouTube Data Viewer:

We will show whether the video is monetized or not, the exact time and second when the video was uploaded date, the view count, total subscriber and like count, and the estimated amount of earnings monetize since the video was published.
Additionally, you will learn the monetization status of the channel that uploaded the video.
